Established in 1901


    The Allenhurst Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1901 and protects life and property for the residents, businesses and visitors in AllenhurstInterlaken, & Loch Arbour, New Jersey. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Deal Lake to the west, the borough is within close proximity to New York City and is located just north of Asbury Park. More than 40 members make up the Allenhurst Fire Department and serve the public by providing fire rescue, fire suppression, emergency medical, fire prevention, water rescue and hazardous materials response services.
